“Just do it” is not a recipe for success when it comes to organizational change. Successfully implementing organizational change — whether a transformative strategy, a new process or program, or a system upgrade — demands specialized skills, a comprehensive approach, and often, a healthy dose of creativity.
In this overview course, the first in a three-part change management series, participants will learn the fundamentals of effective change management through exploration of a flexible change implementation framework. Drawing from practical experience and the latest research in the field of change, we’ll review the mindsets, technical skills, and roles required to embed organizational changes that produce real outcomes.
On completion of this half-day course, participants will:
- Have a firm grasp of “what it takes” to effectively implement organizational change.
- Understand the four components of a comprehensive change approach (change framework), and the related mindsets, technical skills and roles necessary to effectively lead and execute change.
- Be able to tailor the change framework to different contexts.
Who should attend: Professionals at all levels can benefit from this course. Executive directors, department heads, HR professionals, team leads, program staff, project and program managers…anyone who may be involved in initiating or executing an organizational change.
