Free Webinar: What the Individual Freedom Act Means for Your Nonprofit & Diversity Training
September 14, 2022
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST
Florida recently passed the Individual Freedom Act, also known as the “Stop WOKE Act,” which makes it unlawful for an employer to require employees as a condition of employment to attend training on a variety of concepts, including some common elements of diversity training. Recently, litigation to strike the Act’s application to employers as unconstitutional was dismissed.
This free seminar explores what the Individual Freedom Act means for your nonprofit and its employees. You’ll learn more about the eight topics included in the law, permissible DEI training, enforcement, remedies, how to mitigate your risk, and the status of legal action against the Act.
This class is beneficial for human resource professionals, managers and anyone responsible for providing staff and DEI training.
