There are two mindsets that have a great impact on our ability to learn, grow and achieve our goals.
- GROWTH MINDSET: The belief that we are in control of our skills and that they can be developed and improved. That we have the capacity to learn and grow. Skills are built.
- FIXED MINDSET: The belief that our skills are set, we are who we are, we have what we have, and changing that is impossible. The belief exists that we don’t really have the capacity to change and learn. Skills are born.
Research shows that a growth mindset can foster grit, determination and work ethic within students, athletes and people of all ages. Growth mindset is achievable.
In this virtual workshop, participants will engage their mindset, identify their most prevalent mindset or mindset challenges, learn how a growth mindset empowers employees to collaborate, innovate and take risks, all to create/sustain a positive workplace culture.
Participants will also be exposed to strategies to develop a growth mindset.
