In this class, you’ll explore—and even draft for your own nonprofit–organizational best practices to engage and include your colleagues, volunteers, donors, and those you serve with respect and cultural awareness.
Tools and resources will include templates for a strategy action plan and drafts of sample policies.
All nonprofit professionals will benefit from this series, and it will be incredibly impactful for HR staff, fundraisers, frontline staff, program staff, volunteer managers, team leads, and department heads.
Ms. Cunin’s professional roles included, Workforce Development Manager-Salvation Army Tampa Command; Professor at Hillsborough Community College & St. Petersburg College (Professional Development Training); USF- HR Training Department-Team/Leadership; Dress for the Success – Program Design (Professional Training); Community Development Manager – Girl Scouts of West Central Florida.
JoAnna Cunin holds a Masters in Adult Education-USF, BA in Organizational Studies/Minor in Human Development- Eckerd College, and has completed first year of Adult Education Curriculum & Instruction PhD. at USF. Ms. Cunin has worked in many diverse settings in the business community, nonprofit sector and proven entrepreneurial skills. She is a tutor for international students engaged in the INTO program at USF and also currently serving on the Board of For the Family, Inc. as well as volunteering for the Appeals Committee-Girl Scouts of West Central Florida.

NLC/Children’s Board of Hillsborough County No-Show Policy – effective July 1, 2018
The Children’s Board of Hillsborough County (CBHC) has asked NLC to reframe our no-show policy for their providers.
Effective July 1, CBHC-funded organizations using codes to claim CBHC-funded seats at NLC trainings or events will be responsible for payment of registration and processing fees in the event of a no-show. Please read the full no-show policy here.
