Description:

• MTC’s Development Manager will collaborate with the President and Sr. Director of Development to implement a development plan which increases revenue and brand awareness to support the strategic direction of MTC.
• In collaboration with the Sr. Director of Development, the Development Manager will plan and orchestrate community-based fundraising events and awareness campaigns to promote MTC’s mission and vision of full inclusion for people with all disabilities. This will include coordinating promotional activities, venue logistics, sponsorships, ticket sales, marketing materials, and other related tasks with flair and creativity.
• Research and write grants and follow up reports as directed.
• Cultivate, nurture, and amplify relationships with local businesses, community partners, and current/prospective donors through proactive efforts such as program tours, visits and board lead Epic tours.
• Assist as needed on various outreach events.
• Oversee MTC’s Volunteer Program, including processing and tracking of applicants to the program, recruitment and training of new volunteers and be the main point of contact for the program.
• Supervise support staff as required.
• Donor database oversight.
• Maintains a collaborative work environment and works well with others.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field required.  Excellent writing and interpersonal skills, with graphic skills being a plus. Familiarity with stewardship, donor data collection, and database management.   Demonstrated skills in project management, time management, communication and presentation skills.  Must have a keen eye for detail and a collaborative spirit. Should have a positive, can-do attitude, and possess a strong desire to work in an industry that focuses on giving a voice to often forgotten and marginalized individuals.   Establish and maintain positive and collaborative relationships, both internally and externally. Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed. Works to build an environment that promotes and facilitates the success of inclusivity.   Must pass Level 2 background screening, local law enforcement and drug screening.  Must have valid Florida Driver’s License.
Salary Description:  Mid-$50K Depending on Experience
