Trainer | Kimberly Monticello

Kimberly Isner Monticello specializes in working with new and expanding small businesses, as well as individuals, in the areas of business law, employment law, and workers’ compensation.

Kim received her Juris Doctor from Stetson University in 2008, and her Bachelors Degree from Kent State University in 1993. She has over 15 years of human resource and business management experience which provides her with a unique perspective to evaluate and serve the needs of her clients. Prior to attending law school, Kim had a successful career in retail management, where she regularly encountered many of the issues confronting well meaning business owners today. Because of her background, she understands the importance of developing long term client relationships through communication, trust, and cost effective legal services. She also consults with clients on ways to anticipate, prevent, and resolve potential legal issues before they develop into litigation.

While attending Stetson, Kim received the Maria G. Martin Award for writing the best treatise in legal ethics and was included in Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities. Kim also served as an intern for the Honorable Ralph Stoddard of the 13th Judicial Circuit of Florida, and the Honorable Elizabeth Jenkins of the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida. Currently, Kim is a Member of the Ferguson-White Inn of Court, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, BNI Movers and Shakers Chapter, and serves on the Stetson Lawyers Association Advisory Council.
