Karen M. Buesing is a partner at Akerman LLP, Tampa, with more than 35 years of experience counseling and representing management in workplace law matters. Karen is one of only about 200 lawyers who are Board Certified by The Florida Bar as specialists in labor and employment law. Her expertise includes representing employers in discrimination/harassment matters, hiring/firing/disciplinary matters, leave and accommodation matters, wage and hour matters, non-compete and trade secret litigation, whistleblower and retaliation claims, and all aspects of employment counseling and training.
