To enrich the lives of children, youth and families. We do this via trauma-informed, family-focused counseling services.
We serve
Biological, foster, and adoptive families throughout Pinellas County, but also extending into Pasco, Hillsborough, Manatee/Sarasota, Hernando and Polk Counties.
Our greatest accomplishment last year
FES entered into a partnership with Lutheran Services Florida to provide counseling for families whose children were at high risk of removal. The Connecting Family Paths program began, and in that first six months our clinical team provided counseling services to 161 families. We found a way to not only grow our revenue during a pandemic, but more importantly grow our impact.
We listen. We respect every person sitting at our table and we honor everyone's life experiences that have called them to be a voice in the conversation surrounding child welfare. We value diversity, of thought, of experience, and of skills. Leading at the Board level at FES will allow you to develop or further refine your budget acumen, hone your powers of persuasion and education via fundraising, expand your network and support an organization focused on keeping families together.
