Mission

The Junior League of Tampa Diaper Bank serves to combat diaper need within Hillsborough County by supplying diapers to programs in our community. Diaper Need is the lack of a sufficient supply of diapers to keep a baby clean, dry, and healthy. Run by our volunteer members, the Diaper Bank collects, purchases, and packs diapers for our community partners. The Diaper Bank was founded in 2018 by a group of concerned members. Since its inception, the bank has grown exponentially from 100,000 to 1,000,000 diapers distributed annually. With a focus on ensuring the sustainability of Diaper Bank’s services, the League decided to launch the bank into its own nonprofit.

We serve

Caregivers and children in Hillsborough County experiencing diaper need.

Our greatest accomplishment last year

Distributing one million diapers into the community in fiscal year 2022-23, and beginning the process to create a separate nonprofit to sustain the Diaper Bank into the future.
