Great minds DON’T all think alike, thankfully. As nonprofit CFOs, getting fresh perspectives on pressing challenges can be just the push we need to propel us forward.
Our CFO Roundtable, drawing on the collective wisdom of the group, will help you identify new ideas, tools, or strategies to help you meet or exceed your goals.
CFO Roundtable sessions include:
At this meeting, we will discuss recent and upcoming cybersecurity and information security (IS) changes that will impact nonprofits, including preparing for the financial statement audit. Kadian Douglas, CPA, CISA, M.Ed., NLC Board Member, and Principal at CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), will join us to discuss the recently updated Gramm Leach Bliley Act (GLBA) that took effect in June 2023 as well as SAS 145 that will take effect in December 2023. Nonprofits of all sizes will be impacted by these updated regulations and standards. We will discuss documentation needed to be compliant with GLBA and the types of nonprofits that will be impacted. We will also walk through the additional work your auditors have to perform under SAS 145 and how that could impact your audit preparation.
Kadian has been practicing in the public accounting profession and the Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance space since 2007. She is a leader in the Firm’s Cybersecurity service line and is also responsible for the Florida market. Additionally, she is the national lead for the Higher Education Industry Cybersecurity Service Team.
