Starting:
One of the top skills that hiring managers look for when recruiting top talent is strong communication skills. But what does that really mean and how do you know if yours stack up?
During this interactive session, nonprofit professionals will learn the components that comprise a communication skill set and how to incorporate them for increased confidence and job effectiveness.
Specifically, we’ll explore nuances of the communication process, communication apprehension, interpersonal communication, best practices for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, and understand how your communications skills can benefit your nonprofit — as an employee internally and as a community advocate externally.
Who should attend?
This program is designed for any nonprofit professional interested in improving their communications skills to strengthen their performance and advance their mission.
