The Nonprofit Leadership Center’s Board Governance Rock Star Certificate series is a six-hour program over two evenings that covers the fundamental nonprofit governance concepts every nonprofit leader should understand and practice. If you want to serve a chosen organization with passion and impact, this is the certificate for you.
During these engaging and interactive sessions, you’ll explore case studies and learn best practices for board structure and practices, board member roles and responsibilities, and financial and legal oversight. You’ll also build an invaluable network of nonprofit leaders that you can consult anytime.
To earn the certificate, you must attend both this session, Essentials for a Rock Star Board Meeting, and the other session in the Certificate program: How to Be a Nonprofit Board Rock Star on September 18, 2024. You must register for each of these sessions separately.
