Position Overview

360 Eats is seeking a skilled and motivated Grant Writer to join our team. The Grant Writer will play a key role in securing funding to support our initiatives and further our mission. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in grant writing, a strong understanding of nonprofit operations, and a passion for addressing food insecurity and food waste.

**Please note that this is a contracted position, with compensation provided on a per-project basis.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential grant opportunities that align with 360 Eats’ mission and programs.
• Write compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and government entities.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to gather relevant information for grant applications.
• Maintain a comprehensive calendar of grant deadlines and submission requirements.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with grantors and funding partners.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and funding opportunities in the nonprofit sector.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in grant writing for nonprofits, with a successful track record of securing funding.
• Strong research and analytical skills to identify relevant grant opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Familiarity with the food industry, hunger relief, or sustainability is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and grant management software.
