Jennifer McBride

Jennifer McBride, M.P.A., has an extensive background in nonprofit and higher education administration, with more than 15 years’ experience in the world of grants and fund development as a grant writer and consultant in Washington State, Tallahassee, and the Tampa Bay region. Her expertise in proposal development, crafting evaluation plans and logic models, strategic planning, and program review led to a full-time role in evaluation and assessment, where she now serves as the Director of Institutional Effectiveness at St. Petersburg College.

Jennifer believes strongly in demystifying the world of data and assessment to help organizations identify needs, bolster continuous improvement efforts, and best serve their clients and their missions.

Jennifer holds a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in nonprofit leadership, an undergraduate degree in political science and economics, and is a proud alumna of the AmeriCorps national service program. She is a former two-term Board President of the Grants Collaborative of Tampa Bay and presenter for the Greenhouse of St. Petersburg. In her free time, Jennifer can be found reading, spending time with family–including her teenaged twins–and planning her next travel adventure.
