Julie Perrelli is an experienced fundraising leader with 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and nearly 15 years in fundraising leadership roles. She is a Certified Fundraising Raising Executive (CFRE) and the incoming President for the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Tampa Bay.
Julie began her career at Girl Scouts of West Central Florida working in marketing, membership, programmatic and grant writing roles, and eventually was promoted to Director of Development.
From there her career has included major gift fundraising at USF St. Petersburg, building and leading a fundraising team at the Pinellas Education Foundation, planned giving at the Suncoast Hospice Foundation and her current role as the Assistant Vice President of Events & Partnerships at the St. Joseph’s Hospitals Foundation.

Julie is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin – an organization in which she was active for more than 10 years and primarily served in community-focused roles including Community Vice President and chair of the league’s Public Affairs Committee. She also served as an At-Large Board member and received the league’s Community Impact Award for her leadership of community projects benefitting teens aging out of the foster care system.
Julie also served on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Pinellas and currently serves as a Nonprofit Leadership Center board member.
She is passionate about philanthropy and specifically strategic philanthropy, philanthropic leadership and building successful fundraising teams.
