Sheff Crowder has served as the CEO of the Conn Memorial Foundation since 1993. His foundation provides leadership and grants to organizations in Hillsborough County that support the educational achievement of children and youth in low-income neighborhoods and strengthen the capacity of leaders in preschools, schools and social service organizations.

Sheff was the founding chair of the Nonprofit Leadership Center and has been a long-time board member and trainer. He is also a regular guest lecturer at the University of Tampa for their Certificate in Nonprofit Management graduate program. He has worked with many nonprofits on capacity-building projects and has facilitated several collective impact initiatives in Tampa Bay. Sheff holds his bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College and a master’s degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.
