Session One​
Join Emily Benham, FAHP, CFRE, for a three-hour, interactive learning experience designed to showcase best practices in:

• Identifying, recruiting, on-boarding and even releasing board members
• Cultivating a successful board-staff partnership
• Establishing the board’s fundraising role
• Understanding board member motivation, responsibilities and accountability, including conflicts of interest
• Competing governance models and governance trends

Session Two​
What is an executive committee meeting, and when do you call one? What do all those financial reports mean? What questions should you be asking?

Take a deeper dive into what makes rock star boards work so well. Learn about the most efficient and effective ways to utilize committees and run your meetings. Emily Benham, FAHP, CFRE, and Dr. Maureen Butler, PhD, CPA, will share the processes and information that rock star boards need to operate at peak efficiency and with the greatest impact.
