Starting:
A nonprofit’s case for support tells your organization’s story in a compelling manner and articulates the reasons a donor should support your mission. A case for support is critical to distinguishing your organization from other nonprofits and for ensuring that your staff and board can consistently and clearly communicate your organization’s message.
After this two-part class led by Sara Leonard, MBA, CFRE, you will know how to:
You will leave the first session with the skills and tools to begin drafting your organization’s case for support. Then, during the second session, you will have the opportunity to present your case to a group of experts and receive valuable feedback to sharpen your approach. At the conclusion of the series, you will have a well-developed draft of your case for support that will become invaluable in your fundraising efforts.
Who should attend
Professionals at all levels can benefit from this program — from executive directors, development directors and program staff to board members and volunteer managers — anyone responsible for securing resources for your organization and telling its story.
