Life constantly demands our attention. But when we become fixated on the past or worried about the future, we often miss the most vital parts and possibilities of our present situation. Cultivating a state where you are consistently present in the moment is not impossible, but it takes practice. In this two-part Leadership Mindfulness Series, participants will learn about the benefits of mindfulness and self-awareness in creating balance — both at work and in life. You will practice mindfulness and meditation and develop strategies for being a more effective leader.

The Power of Self-Awareness

Developing a keen self-awareness is vital for achieving fulfillment in work and life. Participants will learn about the benefits of mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness in creating balance — both at work and in life. You will practice leading mindfulness and meditation and develop strategies for being a more effective leader.
In this session, you’ll have the opportunity to practice mindfulness as it relates to self-awareness and learn how to build it into your everyday life. During this course, you’ll understand the fundamental skills and compelling behaviors of mindful leadership, self and other awareness, and learn how to use mindfulness as a leadership strategy to address others’ concerns, show gratitude, and maintain control, especially in challenging situations.
