Charlie Imbergamo
MA, CFRE
A committed lifelong learner and a genuinely curious people-person, Charlie Imbergamo has 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, primarily serving in the education and pastoral ministry fields before transitioning to a career in capacity building, training and development. He was appointed the Nonprofit Leadership Center’s CEO in July 2023 after serving as director of strategic programs.
Before joining the Nonprofit Leadership Center, Charlie served as the founding president and CEO of the first Cristo Rey Network School in Florida, a college preparatory high school and corporate work-study program for underrepresented youth in East Tampa. Charlie has served in several executive leadership roles and on various boards of directors in New York, New Jersey, Texas, and Florida. He volunteers for various organizations around the community, serves on his HOA board, and currently serves on the BayCare Behavioral Health Board.

No-Show & Tardy Policy for Children’s Board of Hillsborough County (CBHC) and Juvenile Welfare Board (JWB)
If you use a CBHC or JWB code to register for an NLC event, you will be responsible for paying the registration and processing fees if you do not show up for the class. Please read the full no-show policy here.
If you anticipate needing to miss more than 30 minutes of a training, we ask that you cancel your registration in advance so that someone else may take advantage of the full training.
If you miss more than 30 minutes of a training, while we invite you to continue to participate, you may not be eligible for full credit.

Health Protocols for In-Person Classes
The health and safety of all visitors, students, trainers and staff is our top priority.
NLC uses targeted cleaning protocols in our Training Room and office space.
Any person who is feeling unwell or suspects they have been exposed to contagious illness is asked to refrain from attending in-person training events.
COVID-19: If you are not feeling well on the day of your training or are aware of exposure (within the previous 10 days) to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you cancel or reschedule your visit with us, whether or not you appear to be experiencing symptoms of illness.
If you need to cancel for this reason, please notify us, and we will be happy to provide program credit equivalent to the registration fees already paid.
