In today’s widely diverse, fast-paced, increasingly challenging workplace, the essential role of a manager is ever-changing. The circumstances, in which supervisors are asked to lead today, scarcely resemble those of yesterday. The understanding of fundamental HR laws is quickly becoming a critical and necessary skill, in order to avoid legal pitfalls. Any manager with responsibility for recruiting, hiring, and managing staff must possess knowledge of the basics of HR. A manager’s responsibility is to protect the integrity of their organization. Learn the top three areas where managers risk opening their organization up to liability issues. Leave with the tools to address issues in a constructive way. Develop the confidence to build a strong, diverse team that is founded in trust, respect and collaboration.

Join NLC trainer Margarita Sarmiento for this brand new course that covers HR basics for the non-HR manager.
