We are a group of community members dedicated to uplifting and supporting low-income students in the area. A network of Hillsborough County residents, schools, churches, foundations, corporations, and charitable clubs work together with us to make sure all HCPS students have the tools they need to fully engage in their learning.
We serve only student in Hillsborough Public County Schools with the School Social Workers being the primary conduit to identify students in need and obtain the clothing.
In August 2026 Oasis is very proud to have provided 4,620 students with uniforrms and/or socks and underwear for the start of school via our Back to Basics program which gave school social workers clothing for 30 students each at 150 Title 1 schools.
Oasis is a small but mighty organization where Board Members truly have an opportunity to see how their contributions impact the lives of local students. By providing an at risk student with clothing, we also provide the young person with hope and dignity, to further both their academic and personal success.
The ideal candidate is passionate about our mission of helping local students and is willing to donate their personal time, talent, and treasure. The individual helps steer the overall success of the organization, as well as highly motivated to be personally involved in efforts to build awareness, drive volunteerism, and actively fundraise.
