Maya Lane

Dr. Maya Lanewas born and educated in Bulgaria, where she earned a master’s degree in Linguistics and English Literature and taught for 17 years.  After moving to the United States, she devoted her career to teaching and supporting immigrant and refugee students across all levels of education — from elementary schools as an ESOL resource teacher to high schools, colleges, and universities. Her work reflects a deep care for those who are new to the country, often facing challenges with language, culture, and belonging. Motivated by her desire to help these individuals succeed, she founded NicerFL, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering immigrants through education and support. Dr. Lane holds a doctoral degree in curriculum and instructional leadership, specializing in inclusive teaching and differentiated instruction.

Ariadne Miranda

Dr. Ariadne Miranda is the founder and director of AM Communication Collective, specializing in tailored language and communication services for individuals and organizations navigating multilingual and cross-cultural environments. With her Ph.D. in Communication and M.A. in Applied Linguistics from the University of South Florida, she brings more than 20 years of experience in language education and intercultural communication.
