Meet Your Presenters
Jesse Coraggio, Ph.D.
Jesse Coraggio, Ph.D., is the senior vice president of community impact at Community Foundation Tampa Bay. In this role, Jesse provides oversight and leadership to the Foundation as it creates opportunities for strategic philanthropic giving and positive change within the community. He works with community stakeholders to identify emerging issues and potential solutions.
Jesse is a recognized expert in student success, organizational change, and community engagement. His work has been published, and he has presented at more than 90 conferences, including American Association of College Trustees, American Association of Community Colleges Pathways Institutes, the Association of Institutional Research, American Educational Research Association, and National Council on Measurement in Education.
Brandi Sanchez
Brandi Sanchez is the senior director of community investments at Community Foundation Tampa Bay. She is the primary contact for the Foundation’s competitive grants process and works with nonprofits to connect them to the Foundation.
Before coming to the Foundation, Brandi served as the director of grants and programs for the Florida Department of Education, where she administered more than $5 million in federal and state grants and was a lead project manager for major Florida initiatives impacting the Division of Public Schools. Additionally, Brandi has served the Pinellas County and greater Tampa Bay communities as an enrollment management and student success administrator with the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg, leading programs championed by the Florida State Legislature, including Pinellas Access to Higher Education (PATHe) and initiatives supporting the State University System’s performance-based funding metrics.
