This important course introduces professionals with little to no accounting experience to accounting basics that build your confidence, including key terminology and vocabulary, designing a chart of accounts, recordkeeping, and financial reporting.

Who should attend?
This course is designed for professionals with little to no accounting experience. Stakeholders from organizations that file 990 postcards or 990-EZs and are looking to be ready to file a full 990 in the future would benefit from this course. Any individual involved in or overseeing the bookkeeping processes for a nonprofit organization, such as administrative professionals, executive directors, or board members would also benefit from Intro to Nonprofit Accounting.

No-Show Policy
Organizations using funds and promo codes from the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County (CBHC) or the Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas (JWB) to participate in events at the Nonprofit Leadership Center will be responsible for paying all registration and processing fees in the event of a no-show.
