Cheryl Pollock is the chief advancement and community engagement officer for Premier Community HealthCare Group, Inc. She oversees resource development, marketing and communications, community services, volunteerism, program development, and community engagement to help Premier fulfill its mission. As a veteran project manager, grant writer, community organizer and trainer/group facilitator, she has more than 25 years of experience in the public health and human service fields helping communities thrive.
Cheryl excels at developing collaborations that leverage resources and improve the health of people and communities. She received her master’s in education from the University of Phoenix and her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida. Cheryl is the immediate past chair for Hernando County’s Community Health Improvement Plan Partnership and the Pasco County Commission on Status of Women Advisory Board. She is also active with the Grant Professionals Association, and Association of Fundraising Professionals and is a member of AdventHealth CHNAC and Tampa Bay Community Cancer Network.
A native of Brooklyn, NY, and having spent her formative years growing up in Greensboro, NC, Cheryl has called Tampa Bay home for three decades. Cheryl and her husband of 25 years have five children and a young grandson. She enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with family and close friends.
